Kareena Kapoor Khan Flaunts Baby Bump on Ramp: Kareena Kapoor Khan 34-year-old actor got emotional on ramp and said, I would remember this walk as she and her baby took to the ramp together for the first time. Kareena who is expecting her first child in December with actor Saif Ali Khan, she was showstopper at Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Winter/Festive 2016 for designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee says pregnancy should not be looked as a disease where women can or cannot do certain things.
“The most important thing is that pregnancy should not be looked upon as some sort of disease of any kind. It’s the most beautiful phenomenon that can happen to a woman… I would continue to do as normal things as everybody else because that’s what it is.
“It’s most natural phenomenon and there is nothing wrong with it. In fact it’s a joy,” Kareena told IANS when she was asked how it felt to walk on the runway as a showstopper for Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee at the Lakme Fashion Week 2016 with a baby bump. Usually it is seen in Bollywood that when an actress gets pregnant, it leads to a cut in her roles. Is Bollywood being supportive of her new phase?

“But why should they not be,” questioned Kareena, and added: “I don’t look at it like any change. I know of course everyone prefers 16-year-olds dancing around in mini skirts, but there is a certain amount of stature that is required for certain roles. And that will always be there.”
At the Lakme Fashion Week finale, Kareena was wearing beautiful lehenga created by designer Sabyasachi. Asked if Kareena Kapoor pregnancy has affected her personal fashion trend or style, she said: “Luckily, I have been following things that have suited my personality and never really tried to follow any particular trend or style.
“It has always been more casual chic or whenever I am out for the evening, I prefer to wear something that I am comfortable in, something which is a lot more elegant and regal because I believe my fans expect that from me.” Lakme Fashion Week a five-day fashion festival, ended on Sunday with Sabyasachi showcasing.
“I have never walked for Sabyasachi before, we were not able to do a film together. But this moment is very special. It’s going to be in the history. I am actually very emotional right now. It is a moment I want everyone to cherish. I would like to say Sabyasachi is not a designer he is an artist. He creates painting. I am really honoured to wear this artist,” Kareena said post the show.
“This time around I wanted to create few dresses. I decided to make some short evening wear, but kept the Indianess alive with my signature work. I can’t leave that as it is the essence of my brand. I am an Indian designer and I can never let that go away from myself,” Sabyasachi told PTI.
