Censors says remove No bra or Savita Bhabhi scene to Baar Baar Dekho Producers: Upcoming Movie Baar Baar Dekho Starring Sidharth Malhotra-Katrina Kaif has been granted a ‘UA’ certificate by the Censor Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) only after film producers remove a shot of a brassiere from the film.
Baar Baar Dekho team members are not happy with CBFC, “Are we living in the Victorian era when women’s innerwear was never spoken of in public? Years ago in 1995 there was a bra shot in Superhit Movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge featuring Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan. And Baar Baar Dekho director Nitya Mehra is a woman. So the chances of lingerie being used to titillate the audience are nil.” says a source.
Although the censor board refused to certify the film until the brassiere shot was removed.
CBFC also demanded Baar Baar Dekho producers remove another reference to ‘Savita Bhabhi‘ the popular comic porn book character.Says the source, “We were asked to delete the reference. The name is used in a light-hearted manner in the film. If a porn reference is objectionable, how was Sunny Leone’s name used in A Flying Jatt?” whose sexual exploits are devoured on the internet by millions of her fans.
