This has been a huge loss. While kapil has asked the colors about the issue they have not been able to refrain any comment so far. The CEO Raj Nayak has decided to speak about it .This serial ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ use to be very much liked serial by the audience.
The channel was asked about the reason for closing the serial, they were asked as to why they refrained from speaking first and then changed their mind?
The closing of the serial is still suspense. When asked about it, the color refrained from speaking to media about it but finally they have said that it’s a private matter between Kapil Sharma and us and we don’t want to open it to all. We have lot of love and respect for him. They also said that there silence has been misinterpreted. Our being nice has been taken as our weakness and we want to make things clear once and for all.

Kapil Sharma most wanted actor of the serial ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ has finally come to an end. Surprising isn’t it. He was on Television for over 10 yrs, he was first on ‘Laughter Challenge’ and then he did ‘Comedy Circus’ before doing ‘Comedy Nights’ with us. He is most talented person and nice at heart. They said that they have given him platform, the serial was originally to be named as Comedy Night but we changed it and made it Comedy Night with Kapil to give him sense of ownership. He has taken few steps which are not appreciated. He has been made star and we also helped him to set up his own production company. But he has not proved himself and has become more demanding which made him greedier. We did discuss that and to some extend listened but they say that since he has violated his contract by hosting shows on competitive channels which is not appreciated as he is already having exclusive contract with colors for TV , doing such mistakes is not appreciated and ethical .
