Hero is one of the most inticipated film of the year that has been released today with huge appriciations. Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty are making their debut with this film. It is the official remake of 1983 film HERO by Subhas Ghai featuring Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Seshadri in the leads. Film has opened today globally and running with good occupecny across the country becasue of advance booking. Critics reviews is not in the favour of film but the pre-release buzz & Salman Khan pruction has made the film to get good business at box office. Movie is running sucessfully in central & northern regions of country including Pune, Bangalore, Kolkata and Delhi/NCR. The original part directed by Subhas Ghai has got huge audince appreciations but this film lags at many stage. Plot of the film is almost similar to the original one but the narration is this remake is poor with low acting from Sooraj & Athiya Shetty. This year has been terrible so far when it comes to movies starring newcomers. Two new films featuring newcomers, Khamoshiyan & Second Hand Husband has not done well at box office even the opening day collection was around 1 Cr. Movie has got huge benefit of Salman Khan because he has left no stone unturned for the promotion of his film Hero. Even he has sang the title track of the film 'Main Hun Hero Tera'. Good hype has been created by the makers of the film and most probably movie will have a good opening weekend at box office. "Hero" is a romantic comedy film also featuring Tigmanshu Dhulia, Aditya Pancholi, Imran Hasnee and Sharad Kelkar in pivotal roles. The film is running sucessfully and get the details of opening day business of HERO.

The film is getting mixed responce from critics & opened with an occupency of 40-45% across the country. Salman khan has made a huge promotions at different plateform to & he is leaving no stone untrened to make a grand debut for Sooraj and Athiya via his production venue Salman Khan films. Audince are watching the film and some of them is not satasfied with the screen play. According to report the first half is weak and the film is dull in the 2nd half. Film has been directed by Nikhil Advani and co-written by Umesh Bist and the Songs has been composed by Amaal Mallik, Meet Bros Anjjan, and Sachin-Jigar. There is nothing new in the story, Sooraj is a Mumbai based gangester and he fall in love with Athiya Shetty (Radha), who is daughter of Mumbai’s Chief of Police. The movie is slow but you can watch the new comer Sooraj with a fantastic cool body, dance and acting. Athiya Shetty is looking sexy in the song but her acting is low at some moment. Other casts of the film are ok at their part and movie is expected to do well on the opening day. Most probably movie will get benegit of Salman Khan fans and will be make at good collection at the end of day. Opening day collection of film is expected to be around 8-10 Cr. The film will be most probably listed in the box office hits list of the year.

Movie has got a good start in India as well as in overseas market and the film is also getting benefit of Sallu fans. Critics responce is not so well but despite of all these factors movie is running on a good note. Film will continue its business till the opening weekend because of its release on grand scale. This is the solo big baner release of the week but the movie will get good competition from previous week released film Welcome Back. Total box office collection of film on very first day is estimated to be around 8-10 Cr. Movie is also running sucessfully in the overseas market and will collect around 3 Cr*. Total worldwide collection of film is estimated to be around 13 Cr*.
